I love mills and this book is a great beginner guide to their history in Britain. Beginning with the Romans and through the middle ages, milling was a trial and error process. When the Industrial Revolution came however, everything changed. It became a fine tuned art. This book goes throughout time to describe these changes in a relatively short amount of time. A great read and well illustrated!
